A Fragrant Housewarming Gift

I don't know about you but I really struggle to find interesting and unusual gifts to send to people for housewarming presents. I've recently had a number of friends move in to new homes and I think it's really nice to let people know that you are thinking of them and to wish them luck when they move.

Due to having a a rather shop-phobic toddler I never manage to get round the shops as much as I would like and so I tend to rely on internet shopping. This makes things much easier for me as I can "shop" in the evenings when the children are tucked up in bed.

I usually organise my cards online via www.moonpig.com but I also like to try and organise my presents this way too. I find that if I buy cards and gifts online then I can send them to people directly rather than having to find a spare minute to pop down to the post office (I never have a minute to spare!).

I love browsing for interesting and unique presents and so I was quite excited to find bestkeptsecrets - a site which sells personalised scented candles that you can send to people for gifts.

Candles are a great idea for a housewarming present as they last much longer than flowers or chocolate. You can choose from a selection of delicious fragrances such as Coastal Breeze or Classic Cotton and your choice of message is printed on the tin. I particularly like the idea of sending a candle as a new home gift - what a lovely way to welcome a friend to their new home! You can also get personalised candles to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and the birth of a new baby.
